OUR SERVICES
-
LAWN MOWING
All areas around patios, walkways, driveways, pools and mulch bed edges will be maintained with a line trimmer. These areas will be blown clean of debris and grass clippings. Our commercial mowers are maintained on a regular basis to ensure that we can mow your lawn without any issues. We offer weekly and bi-weekly lawn mowing.
-
EDGING
This is the process of redefining a mulch bed, keeping mulch from getting on the lawn and preventing grass from growing in the mulch bed. Edging is done at the end of spring clean ups, and then the edges are maintained with a line trimmer during lawn mowing. All edging debris will be hauled off the property.
-
MULCHING
In addition to making your property look nice, mulch aids in conserving water for plants, trees and flowers to keep them healthy and prevents weeds from growing. Brown Pine Bark, Hemlock, Red Cedar and Black Mulch are the four most popular types of mulch, but we can spread other types/colors upon request. Mulching is done once a year in the spring right after clean ups.
-
AERATING
Over time, a lawn becomes compacted from walking, machine use and natural causes. When compaction occurs, it prevents key components for a healthy lawn, such as air, water and vital nutrients from reaching the grass’s roots, which can cause lawn damage. Aerating is done by a machine that takes cores out of the lawn to alleviate compaction, which allows these key components to enter the soil to maintain a healthy lawn. Upon completing aerating, we will apply grass seed to thicken your lawn and lime to balance the pH of the soil. This service is typically done in the fall.
-
DETHATCHING
Thatch is dead grass that builds up just below the surface of your lawn. Too much thatch can prevent key nutrients from reaching the grass’s roots. The dethatching process helps keep your lawn healthy. This service is performed during spring clean ups.
-
IRRIGATION
Water is essential in order to maintain a healthy lawn. Having a properly installed irrigation system that waters your lawn with approximately 1 inch of water per week will provide what you need for a great lawn. We can repair any irrigation problems you may have, and we also perform spring startups and winterizations.
-
LANDSCAPE LIGHTS
Lighting is a great way to improve the appearance and increase the value of your home. Lighting can be installed in mulch beds and in trees, as well as around walkways, pools and decks to help navigate these areas at night. We use energy-efficient, low voltage, LED bulbs.
-
GUTTER CLEANING
Having clean gutters is essential to ensure that water can be properly drained. Roof leaks and ice buildup can occur if the gutters are not cleaned out, which may result in home damage. This service is performed during fall clean ups.
-
SPRING CLEAN UP
All debris that has fallen during the winter months will be removed from the lawn and mulch beds. This service is a good way to get your lawn off to a good start for the season. Spring Clean Ups start at the beginning of April.
-
FALL CLEAN UP
We start by cleaning out your gutters and then work our way around the property to remove all leaves and other unwanted debris from your lawn. We then perform a final lawn moving in preparation for the winter months. Removing debris before the winter is necessary to prevent diseases that will harm the lawn. Fall Clean Ups start during the second week in November, until early December.
-
PRUNING
Shaping trees and bushes is important to ensure they grow to their potential and stay healthy. The timing of this service is dependent upon the specific type of tree or shrub, based upon when it requires trimming. All debris from pruning will be taken off the property.
-
HARDSCAPING
Whether it’s a new walkway, patio, retaining wall or fire pit, we can help you create a new outdoor area at your home. We are happy to talk to you about different options and what might suit your property best.
